Arbeit an der Zukunft
In knapp 2 Wochen entwickelten die jungen Künstler*innen Azim F. Becker, Alexej Eisner und Ronja Bredenförder als »Gruppe Atelierhaus Hasemauer, Osnabrück« vor Ort in der Skulptur-galerie eine Bandbreite an ortsgebundenen Arbeiten, welche anschließend bei einem multimedialen Community-Happening ausgestellt wurden.
Die Galerie wurde durch die Gruppe in einer neuen Form bespielt, die noch lange positiv nachhalte und Besucher*innen, Anwohner*innen sowie Passant*innen jeden Alters zum Austausch über das Thema »Zukunft« anregte.

Die Galerie wurde im Inneren vollständig mit blickdichtem Nebelfluid gefüllt, wodurch das Sichtfeld auf wenige Zentimeter schrumpfte. Gleichzeitig hingen transparente Folien als Labyrinth von der Decke und erweiterten das Bedrückende und Neugierige um eine ängstliche Dimension und greift das Gefühl vieler junger Menschen auf.
»Your Community-Your Voice-Your Future«

Während der zwei Wochen der Werkstattausstellung wurde die Aufmerksamkeit, die normalerweise auf den ausstellenden Künstler*innen liegt, an die Community weitergegeben, welche die großen Fensterscheiben zum Thema Zukunft gestaltete.
»Anonymer Dialog mit Zukunft«

Anhand eines entwickelten Fragenkatalogs zum Thema Zukunft wurden anonyme Interviews mit unterschiedlichsten Menschen aus jeglichen Schichten geführt. Diese konnten ihren Standpunkt zum Thema Zukunft mitteilen und sind durch den Schnitt unweigerlich in ein anonymes Gespräch verwickelt gewesen.

Mit einem Mikrofon wurde der Sound im Inneren der Galerie in eine Live-Effektkette geleitet, verzerrt und anschließend verzögert außen ausgegeben. Bei genauem Hinhören konnte man sich draußen wiedererkennen, was die Handlungsmöglichkeit jeder und jedes Einzelnen im Hier und Jetzt unterstreicht.
»Skulpturale Zukunftssuppe«
(Community Projekt, Gemüse, Schälmesser)
Ohne Anleitung waren die Besucher*innen eingeladen, beim skulpturalen Bearbeiten des Gemüses ins Gespräch zu kommen und eigenständig eine Suppe zu gestalten.
Die gemeinsamen Gespräche, Gestaltungen, Labyrinthe, das gemeinsam kochen und speisen. Das alles unter den Fragestellungen: Wie kann Zukunft ausgestellt werden, wenn diese noch nicht da ist?
Wie können wir als Künstler*innen mit dem, was wir vor Ort tun, mit den Besucher*innen interagieren und in Interaktion treten? Anders gesagt, wie wird den Partizipient*innen eine neue Rolle zuteil, nämlich als Akteure in Verantwortung für Frieden und Zukunft?
Was ist Zukunft für die einzelnen? Wie kann ein intergenerationaler Austausch über Zukunft gewährleistet werden? Und was können die Einzelnen für die Zukunft tun, um diese nicht nur passiv über sich kommen zu lassen, sondern als aktive Gestalter*innen der Zukunft zu gelten?
Verknüpft werden sollen diese Gedanken mit den Global Goals (www.globalgoals.org), um somit ein Bewusstsein für die eigene Rolle im globalen Kontext der Zukunft zu evozieren.

In just under two weeks, the young artists Azim F. Becker, Alexej Eisner and Ronja Bredenförder developed a range of site-specific works on site in the sculpture gallery as “Gruppe Atelierhaus Hasemauer, Osnabrück”, which were then exhibited at a multimedia community happening.
The gallery was used by the group in a new form that had a lasting positive impact and encouraged visitors, residents and passers-by of all ages to discuss the topic of the future.

“Working on the future”

The interior of the gallery was completely filled with opaque fog fluid, shrinking the field of vision to just a few centimetres. At the same time, transparent foils hung from the ceiling as a labyrinth, adding an anxious dimension to the oppressive and curious and echoing the feelings of many young people.

During the two weeks of the workshop exhibition, the attention that is normally focused on the exhibiting artists was passed on to the community, which designed the large window panes on the theme of the future.
“Anonymous dialog with a future”

Based on a developed list of questions on the subject of the future, anonymous interviews were conducted with a wide variety of people from all walks of life. They were able to share their point of view on the subject of the future and were inevitably involved in an anonymous conversation through the editing process.

Using a microphone, the sound inside the gallery was fed into a live effects chain, distorted and then output outside with a delay. If you listened carefully, you could recognize yourself outside, underlining the possibility of action for each and every individual in the here and now.
“Sculptural soup of the future”

Without instructions, visitors were invited to engage in conversation while sculpting the vegetables and create their own soup.
The joint discussions, designs, labyrinths, cooking and eating together. All under the question: How can the future be exhibited if it is not yet here?
How can we as artists interact and engage with visitors with what we do on site? In other words, how are the participants given a new role, namely as actors with responsibility for peace and the future?
What is the future for each individual? How can an intergenerational exchange about the future be ensured? And what can individuals do for the future in order to not just passively let it come upon them, but to be active shapers of the future?
These ideas should be linked to the Global Goals (www.globalgoals.org) in order to raise awareness of one’s own role in the global context of the future.
